Wednesday, October 21 – Committee Meetings
Committee meetings will be held at Kaiser Vallejo. Three meeting rooms have been reserved on the Vallejo campus from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Please note that the complimentary shuttle will not be available on Wednesday. Members will be responsible for arranging transportation to and from Kaiser Vallejo. Uber or Lyft and carpooling are recommended.
If you will have access to a rental or personal vehicle during the AGM and are willing to assist with transportation on Wednesday, please coordinate with other members to arrange carpools.
Wednesday, October 21 - Welcome Gathering
On Wednesday evening, we will host an optional welcome gathering on the Terrace Deck at the DoubleTree Hotel from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to register and submit payment if they have elected to pay in cash. A registration table will be located near the Terrace Deck, where guests will also receive their name tags.
Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. If your committee meeting extends through 8:00 p.m., you may register and submit payment the following morning at the Instructor Day.
Thursday, October 22 – Instructor Day & Evening Social
Instructor Day will take place at Kaiser Vallejo in the Education Center on the third floor of the Kaiser Vallejo Medical Center. You will enter through the main hospital entrance where staff members and signs will be available to help direct you to the meeting location.
A registration table will be set up in front of the Education Center. Guests who did not submit payment during Wednesday evening’s welcome gathering may pay at this time and receive their name tags. All guests are required to check in at the registration table, regardless of whether payment has already been submitted. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m., and the meeting will run from 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on-site.
Following Instructor Day, the complimentary shuttle will transport guests from Kaiser Vallejo to Vallejo Brewing Company for our evening social from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Food from Gracie’s Barbeque will be provided.
Friday, October 23 – Business Day & Evening Event
Business Day will also take place at the Kaiser Vallejo Education Center on the Third Floor of the Kaiser Vallejo Medical Center, and will follow the same schedule as Instructor Day, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the meeting running from 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will again be provided.
Following the meeting, the complimentary shuttle will transport guests back to the DoubleTree Hotel.
Friday evening’s event will be held at the hotel from 6:00–10:00 p.m. in the Vintners Ballroom. Dinner and entertainment will be provided. Dinner will be served in the Ballroom Foyer while dancing will take place in the Vintners Ballroom.
Saturday, October 24 – Education Day
Education Day will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in the Vintners Ballroom. Registration will take place from 7:30–8:00 a.m., and the course will run from 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in the Ballroom Foyer.
As part of the lab component of the course, participants should bring either a personal pillow or a pillow from their hotel room for positioning purposes. The Vallejo staff will provide towels for all participants.
Note on Cash Payments and Additional Guests:
Guests who elected to pay in cash should plan to bring the exact amount in U.S. dollars (USD). We will not be able to accept or exchange foreign currency at registration. Change will also be limited, so exact payment is strongly encouraged. Checks and other forms of payment will not be accepted. If members plan to bring additional guests, please notify the event organizer in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made prior to their arrival.
Transportation & Complimentary Shuttle Schedule
Guests should plan to arrange their own transportation to and from the airport. In addition, on Wednesday, October 21, anyone participating in the committee meetings will be responsible for arranging transportation to and from Kaiser Vallejo Medical Center. The complimentary shuttle will operate on Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23, according to the following schedule:
Thursday morning: Depart DoubleTree Hotel at 7:50 a.m. for Kaiser Vallejo. Shuttle arranged to pick up guests in front of the hotel. Guests are to be dropped off in front of the main entrance of the hospital.
Thursday afternoon: Depart Kaiser Vallejo by 5:45 p.m. for Vallejo Brewing Company. Shuttle arranged to pick up guests in front of the hospital.
Thursday evening – Option to return to hotel following drop off the other guests at the brewery for those that do not wish to attend the Thursday social event
Thursday evening – Early return: Depart Vallejo Brewing Company at 7:30 p.m. for the DoubleTree Hotel
Thursday evening – Late return: Depart Vallejo Brewing Company at 9:00 p.m. for the DoubleTree Hotel
